Updated from your database
Syncing Follow Up Boss to Postgres yourself means a job per entity, cursor handling, rate limits and a schema that changes when someone adds a custom field. SyncYak writes every Follow Up Boss lead into your Postgres database as to_syncyak_<name>_people, with a _flat view whose columns follow the fields, typed where every value agrees.
Choose sslmode in the connection string (require or verify-full), give SyncYak a role that can create tables and views, and it does the rest.
How it works
Sync Follow Up Boss to Postgres in three steps
Add your database
Paste a Postgres or MySQL connection string. SyncYak checks it can create tables and views, insert, update and select, and reports each step.
Connect the CRM
Paste its API key or sign in at the vendor, name the connection, and choose the entities to sync. People sync by default.
Query, then write back
Leads land in to_syncyak_<name>_people with a typed _flat view. Map columns of a table or sheet to CRM fields to write values back.
Follow Up Boss PostgreSQL sync, the details
Every table has id, source_id, crm, connection_id, data (jsonb), updated_at, synced_at and deleted_at. The view adds columns such as firstName, lastName, emails_0_value, phones_0_normalized, addresses_0_city, stage, source and assignedTo, plus every other field one level deep.
- jsonb record for anything the view does not expose
- Typed columns that read NULL instead of breaking
- Columns never disappear once they appeared

What you get with CRM sync
CRM sync copies every lead from Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail, CINC, HighLevel, Cloze, Brivity and KW Command into a Google Sheet, on every plan with no database needed, or into a Postgres or MySQL database you own. In a sheet each object gets a tab and each lead a row, upserted by its CRM id, with deletions marked in _deleted and your own columns left alone; in a database you get a to_syncyak_<name>_people table and a _flat view with one typed column per field. Notes, tasks, deals and other entities can sync too where the CRM offers them.
Field mapping writes values back: map columns of a Google Sheet tab, or of a from_syncyak_ table, to CRM fields, and SyncYak writes changed rows into the leads. Write-back works with Follow Up Boss, Lofty, HighLevel and Cloze; BoldTrail, CINC, Brivity and KW Command sync one way. Free syncs 100 leads every 60 minutes from 1 CRM; Hobby, $29 a month, syncs 1,000 every 30 minutes from 2 CRMs and adds field mapping and real-time CRM webhooks.
- Every lead syncs on every plan; the plan sets the batch size and how often
- Signed outbound webhooks: lead.created, lead.updated, lead.deleted and sync.completed
- Invite links let whoever administers a CRM connect it without a SyncYak login
- A request log of every pull, webhook and push, kept for your plan’s window
Frequently asked questions
Something else? Write to contact@syncyak.com and a person answers.
Does it work with managed Postgres?
Yes, any Postgres reachable from the internet. Private and internal addresses are refused.
What permissions does it need?
CREATE on the schema, and SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE on the tables it creates. The connection check tests each one.
Can I use MySQL instead?
Yes. MySQL works the same way.
Is there a free plan for CRM?
Yes. CRM has a free tier with no card and no end date: 1 crm, 100 leads every hour, postgres or mysql destination. Paid tiers start at $29 a month, and you can move up or down at any time.
Can I use the other SyncYak products on the same account?
Yes. Email parsing, the mailbox API, CRM sync, error tracking and tunnels share one login, one team, one API key system and one bill. Each product has its own tier, so you only pay more for the one that grows.
